The main objective of BVS is to promote the development of neglected, deprived, primitive, denotified, and nomadic tribes in India, particularly in Maharashtra. The BVS trust manages eight ashram schools, a social work college offering postgraduate courses, two family counselling centres (FCC), and VIHAN centres in different regions of Maharashtra state.
