I am heartily thankful to all the teachers of Saathi S. M. Joshi Ashram School, Upali, Satara. I don't have the right words to describe how indebted and grateful I am to the entire teaching staff of the school. Truly speaking, the years between my seventh and tenth standards were a turning point in my life. The way teachers taught and educated me during those years filled me with confidence, and for the first time, I felt I could achieve something in life. Today I can say with pride that I work in Pune at State Bank of India, all thanks to the school and the teaching staff at BVS, Satara’s Saathi S M Joshi Ashram School, Upali, Satara.

Today, whatever I am, the entire credit goes to my school, Yashwantrao Chavan Primary Ashram School, Bhosari, Pune. I give credit to my school because it is the school where the foundation stone of my life and education began. My school provided free, high-quality education to needy and poor children from backward communities. We not only received education but also received all the books, uniforms, and other essentials for our education completely free of cost. The slogan of our school is From darkness towards illuminance. This is so true; not only I but hundreds of students from backward communities have benefited from it. Today I study higher education at the Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil Institute in Pune. It is all thanks to the teachers at my school, who were always patient with us and explained everything carefully several times until we understood it.
