Legal & Political Rights Awareness

Denotified and nomadic tribes often face challenges in accessing their legal rights due to a lack of education and awareness. These communities are often disconnected from mainstream society, leading to a lack of access to information about government schemes and facilities that are available to them. Additionally, women in these communities face significant barriers to accessing education and other resources.

To address these issues, BVS Satara conducts a range of programs, drives, and workshops to educate people about their legal rights and empower them to access government schemes and facilities. These efforts are not limited to specific communities or castes, and our workshops are open to people from all backgrounds.

At BVS, we believe that spreading social justice and empowering agencies involved in social justice work is a crucial part of our mission. To this end, we work with students from YCCSW and higher secondary schools to educate them about social justice issues and empower them to spread awareness within their families and communities.

Our programs and workshops focus on a range of topics related to legal rights, including land rights, education, healthcare, and social welfare schemes. We provide information about how to access government facilities and schemes, as well as how to assert legal rights and seek redressal in case of violations.

Through our efforts, we aim to empower marginalized communities and help them access the resources and facilities that are available to them. We believe that education and awareness are crucial in ensuring that people are able to exercise their legal rights and participate fully in society. By working with schools, students, and other agencies, we hope to spread the message of social justice and empower people to create positive change in their communities.
